Marvel Studios is preparing to release their second big film of 2022 in Thor: Love and Thunder. The film is weeks away from its premiere, and while fans are eager to reunite with Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder, they are also looking ahead towards the next entry in the MCU: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Nowadays, a new MCU film is typically marketed right as the latest release is about to premiere in theaters. Well, with Thor: Love and Thunder almost ready for the masses, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if we started to see some official marketing for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Well, it appears we now have a sign that things are pointing towards the campaign kicking off very soon.

An official standee for Walt Disney Studios featuring a poster for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was spotted in a movie theater, which teases that Marvel Studios is already prepping for theater exhibitors to begin marketing the highly-anticipated sequel:

With marketing on Thor: Love and Thunder going bananas at this very moment, it’s easy to forget that some fans were demanding a trailer to be released ASAP given that the film was already fast-approaching its theatrical release closer than most would without a trailer drop. Well, with its theatrical debut fast approaching, some are already stoked to see the first promotional material for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and if theaters are already prepping official posters, it wouldn’t be beyond the realm of possibility to see a trailer debut in a matter of weeks. Again, nothing is officially confirmed at this time, but as the sequel to one of the MCU’s most iconic films, it would make sense to start promoting it soon.

Directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole, the film stars Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, Daniel Kaluuya as W’kabi, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart, and Michaela Coel.

The sequel will hit theaters on November 11, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming film, as well as the future of the MCU, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content.
