Ezra Miller, star of DC’s upcoming The Flash, has deleted their Instagram profile shortly after sharing a series of posts taunting the authorities currently searching for them.

Following two incidents in which they were arrested in Hawaii, Ezra Miller has vanished and is believed to be accompanied by 18 year-old Tokata Iron Eyes, whom they have been accused of grooming from a young age and supplying with drugs and alcohol. Tokata’s parents, Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle, have been granted a protective order against Miller, but authorities have been unable to locate the actor to serve them papers.

In a spate of bizarre posts on their Instagram Story, Ezra Miller shared a variety of memes that seemed to taunt the authorities. These included strange claims they were “in another Universe” and a rambling post about “hidden enemies.”

After sharing these images on Instagram, Ezra Miller deleted their account, erasing all trace of the unusual posts. It is yet another move that has made the star of The Flash harder to reach. “They’ve been flighty. They’ve been avoiding service, and now there’s public pressure mounting on them to make a decision, which makes us very concerned about Ezra’s volatile nature,” said Tokata Iron Eyes’ father Chase Iron Eyes in a statement.

The situation has put increasing pressure on Warner Bros. to respond in some way. With production now wrapped on The Flash, it is too late for the studio to realistically reshoot the movie without Ezra Miller, nor can they likely afford to cancel the release of the multi-million dollar blockbuster. Exactly how Ezra Miller’s actions will affect the upcoming DC movie is not yet clear, though Warner Bros. may be waiting to make a decision until nearer the film’s June 2023 release.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash is inspired by the Flashpoint comic book storyline, which followed Barry Allen as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles.

In addition to Ezra Miller, The Flash also features Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as two separate versions of Batman, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Antje Traue as Faora-Ul and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Rudy Mancuso, and Luke Brandon Field are also on board in undisclosed roles.

The Flash is currently due to open on June 23, 2023. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding the future of The Flash, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
